We are big supporters of local produce. We support Australian grown and owned brands and products, while tailoring our ranges and brands to give our local customers more of what they love.

This includes our meat department, which is produced by a local supplier and our eggs are from a local neighbouring suburb.

Our fresh food departments have proven successful amongst our valued customers. We buy fresh food directly from the Sydney Produce Markets, so we can guarantee the freshest quality.

We actively participate in IGA Community Chest, and we’ve raised well over $20,000 to the local community. We’ve created a special program for our local schools – Werrington County Public and Werrington Public School. When a customer spends $30 they receive a coin to place against the school of their choice. At the end of the year we split all community chest funds based on weight of coins in each basket. A win win for everyone.
